I have been building WordPress sites professionally since 2014. Before that, I spent close to a decade in enterprise IT: AT&T, Unisys, Kantar, Timken. Infrastructure management, hosting operations, systems analysis. That background is not incidental. It shapes how I think about performance, security, uptime, and the decisions that matter when a site is running in production and something goes wrong.
Going independent gave me the chance to apply that technical foundation to web projects. Over time, the work that fit best was building WordPress platforms for organisations that care about content: nonprofits, research groups, cultural institutions, social enterprises. The clients who needed a site that actually worked and kept working.
The agency partnership model developed naturally. I am not a designer or a strategist. I do not want to be. What I do well is implement design accurately, make sound technical decisions, and deliver on time. Agencies that work that way find the setup straightforward. They keep creative control. I keep the build.
I have built sites for organisations in Germany, the US, the UK, Latin America, and across India. The time zone gap is manageable with clear communication and structured handoffs. Most of my clients have found it a non-issue. A few have said it is an advantage.
